Train
I took the train from Miami Boynton beach station down to Hollywood Miami station and it cost (just for one person) $5… and that’s including return.
The train is a super affordable option especially if you are traveling into/out of the main city centre! Which is surprising as it is a double decker train, with many seats forward/backwards facing and space to store luggage!
Cycling
Cycling is a great option! During my visit, myself and my partner cycled the entire 9 miles of miami beach! The most commonly used Bike rental is Citibike – charging 1 hour $8.50, 2 hour $10.95 and so on… or a day pass of $24.
If you are staying for a long duration, you can purchase a single month membership for $35, including 60 minute rides a day!
Uber
When visiting, i took ubers everyday (at least 5 times a day), if you are not traveling by car often… the prices are not so bad. But when you start to add them up it can be costly. And the wait times are steep!
Overall, Uber is not an awful option… but it is not the cheapest.
